I was on my way to a cafe I had heard about on Broadway Market in Hackney to do some much needed work when suddenly, I found myself practically running back along the way I had come to see what all the commotion was inside this monstera plant paradise.  I was warmly greeted by Cordelia who informed me that this was a baby in the making and with Gizzi Erskine' curating the menu. Mare Street Market is long overdue for a place like Hackney but without the Soho House limitations of membership It's the kind of place you find yourself in from morning quite literally until night. You can find little nook by the windows and drink oat milk flat whites while you work, or choose to have brunch outside alongside pizza eaters on their expansive patio, which also boasts an outdoor bar if you don't fancy pushing and shoving your way back inside to top up..If you fancy yourself a podcaster or reckon you have what it takes to make one, there is even a booth to create your very own podcast. What? I said your very own podcast. Yep. The set up is gorge, I almost thought Hackney sold out for Notting Hill but with absolutely none of the pretentious Shoreditch tat that like to pass through. (Ooh the shade-sorry) Super chilled and great for big parties of more than 10, I don't want to give too much away, I think you'd better just head down there, it's practically open 24/7 anyway
